VoIP-T1/E1/PRI Gateways

Introduction

Majority of the organizations have an existing investment made in their ISDN infrastructure. While low-tariff IP telephony has emerged as a viable alternative for long-distance calling with the IP infrastructure wide-existent. It is therefore necessary for the businesses using ISDN PBXs to provide VoIP connectivity to their users. This allows the users to dynamically select one of the networks on per-call basis for obvious benefits of cost and quality of service (QoS). Also, reaching a network transparently helps eliminating the huge interconnection charges and thereby saves significantly on call costs.

The VoIP-T1/E1/PRI gateway that offers integrated interfaces for VoIP and PRI/ T1/E1 networks. The gateway can be scaled up to as many as 8 T1/E1/PRI ports. The high-density VoIP card provides up to 32 simultaneous VoIP channels per card. With Universal Slot Architecture, the VoIP card can be scaled in equivalence to the maximum number of slots available with the ETERNTIY variant. The count of simultaneous VoIP calls increases by a multiple of 32, per VoIP card added. These modular gateways come in varied configurations, with built-in support for multi-port Auto Attendant, in-depth Call Records, DDI and Least Cost Routing.

Matrix ETERNITY works as an adjunct to your existing telephony infrastructure. There is no need to replace any equipment like PBX, Operator Consoles, Key Phones, Standard Phones, Power Supply and Wiring. This not only saves lot of equipment cost, but also saves time and efforts required for re-training. Networking of ETERNITY and an existing PBX is possible over T1/E1 links. QSIG facilitates value added features like Call Transfer, Call Forward, Do Not Disturb with Override, Call Offer, Call Intrusion, Auto Call back (No Reply and Busy) Message Wait, CLIP, COLP, CLIR, COLR, CNIP, CONP, etc.

International Calling is another big opportunity for saving hard-earned money. VoIP calling provided by Internet Telephony Services Provider (ITSP) is much cheaper when compared with regular fixed and mobile lines. Matrix ETERNITY offers VoIP connectivity with multiple ITSP servers giving flexibility of using separate ITSP for each country/region like USA, Europe, etc. VoIP can also be used to provide free calling between different locations of a company – head office, branch offices, factories, warehouses, etc.

Matrix ETERNITY is very easy to install and operate. Built-in web-server allows the system engineer to configure various parameters locally or remotely using any Internet browser.
