ISDN PBX

Introduction

Communication is the driving force behind any organization and the infrastructure is the key asset in providing flexible and effective connectivity to the outside world. Different telecom networks offer advantages in different aspects. The ISDN BRI-PRI is one of such Omni-present networks. Most of the infrastructure requires this digital interface connectivity because of its inherent advantages such as speed, reliable connectivity and Quality of Service (QoS) etc.

Matrix ETERNITY – The ISDN PBX offers interfaces for both ISDN service types i.e. BRI (Basic Rate Interface – 2B+D) and PRI (Primary Rate Interface – 30B+D). ISDN BRI-PRI interface is offered in the form of an expansion card and can be plugged-in to any universal slot of Matrix ETERNITY.  ETERNITY can be expandable up to 8 PRI and 32 BRI Ports. In addition to ISDN connectivity, it can also support interfaces for GSM, VoIP and POTS networks. These multiple network connectivity option allows user to dynamically select one of the networks for the benefits of quality of service (QoS) and cost.

The ISDN BRI, PRI card conform all international standards. Hence, single hardware meeting all country specific telecom requirements. The ISDN BRI, PRI interface card offers flexibility to select parameters such as Line Coding, Framing, Signaling Type, Port Orientation (TE or NT), Caller and Called Number Plan Identification etc. to match with the county specific requirement.

Data and Video Connectivity

Video Conferencing and Data Connectivity is offered by Matrix ETERNITY with ISDN BRI or ISDN PRI card, which supports video conferencing solutions (H.320) through the BRI or PRI NT port on the respective cards. Any standard video conference unit or video phone with suitable ISDN interface can be conveniently integrated with ETERNITY ISDN card. Data connectivity can also be extended to other locations by connecting a suitable router and Ethernet switch to this ISDN PRI or BRI NT port.

Key Features

ISDN Connectivity:

ETERNITY allows users to connect ISDN BRI (2B+D) as well as ISDN PRI (23B+D or 30B+D) lines to the system using optional cards. ISDN BRI and ISDN PRI lines can be configured as NT or TE as per application requirement.
